Privacy Notice for Sally’s Shed with effect from 23rd May 2018
Sally of Sally’s Shed here, and I really value you as a customer or visitor to my creative space online. Therefore your privacy is very important to me. None of your personal information will ever be shared, traded or sold to anybody else for them to bombard you with unwanted marketing correspondence. This lovely little Privacy Notice will explain how I collect and use your data, and how it is secured. There may be times when the information is disclosed to others and this notice will explain that.
Google Analytics and Cookies:
At some point in the future my new website will use both cookies and Google Analytics to help you my customer to go about visiting my website with ease and also for me to gain useful customer data to ensure I understand my customer better. However no personal details will be used, stored or seen for this process to be useful for Sally’s Shed.
Should you sign up to receive my soon-to-be-launched newsletter I will collect personal information from you, this will only be used to send you lovely emails with offers or information about Sally’s Shed, This will be done via a third party service provider, Mail Chimp, and your information is never given out to other parties.

You can unsubscribe at any point by using the ‘unsubscribe’ button on the bottom of any of the emails I send you, or by emailing me at email@example.com.
What data I collect and why:
I collect data to process customer enquiries, requests for commission quotes and to process orders, without this data I couldn’t fulfil any of your requests, and I’m sure you would be very unhappy with me. The data I collect is name, address, telephone number and email address to send my invoice to you. I will also sometimes request photographs of buildings for commission purposes and these will always be deleted once the commission is complete and you are happy. The information is stored in my order book (old fashioned pen and paper) and online via the portal the enquiry, quote or order came through, which can be via email, my ETSY shop, my website enquiry form, in person at an event or via a telephone conversation. The information is only kept in case of further enquiries relating to the original correspondence and for tax and accounting purposes.

I will review this policy once my new website and newsletter option becomes available. I can not give a date as I might fail miserably!
